Breaking Through Trauma and

Understanding Trauma

This post is about dealing with situations of trauma—every kind of trauma—and how it affects the growth of a child’s brain throughout life. Children who go through trauma may be looking for someone to step in and help, no matter what form that help takes or what resources are available.

Generational Patterns

Some call it a generational curse. Every generation tries not to repeat the mistakes of the one before it, yet patterns still find a way to repeat themselves. The struggles, the hardships, and the survival cycles—it’s all connected. The difference today lies in how we raise this generation of teenagers, shaping their young minds not just to attend school, but to truly learn what they need in order to build a strong future.

Parenting Through Worry

I often worry about my own kids. I think about how life will look for them in the next year or two. I’m doing everything I can to prepare them—teaching them about building wealth, investing in property, and creating stability. At the same time, I’m managing my nonprofit, responding to emails, and keeping things updated. My mind is always racing, always on the move with thoughts of what’s next.

Living With Limitations

The reality is that I also have days when my body and mind give out. There are times when I can’t remember things or even form a clear thought. On those days, I have to take my medicine, lay down, and regroup. The pain and illness have slowed me down physically, worn me down emotionally, and taken a toll on me mentally.

Refusing to Give Up

Still, I remain here—still in the game, holding the cards life has dealt me. I may be tired, but I’m not giving up.

A Message to the Overwhelmed

If you’re reading this and feel overwhelmed—whether it’s with work, with love, or with life—please remember this:

  • Be gentle with yourself.

  • Take it one day at a time.

  • Trust that you’ve got this.

Sending love to everyone fighting their own battles. ❤️
